I did. Last Saturday. And I left feeling hopeful. Again. Though I'm just as nervous as I was two years ago. I'm not feeling very eloquent lately, but I feel like I have to write this down. It frightens me when people (and I use that as a broad generalization) want to enforce their beliefs on others. That their way is the "right" way. I feel I'm a pretty open-minded person. Someone who doesn't take issue with differences of opinion. We all come from different backgrounds and have different perspectives. And you know what? That's okay. But when the proverbial "you" wants to take away or limit personal liberties in the name of freedom? I have problems with that. Do I think that government in general is too big? Yes.
