So a while back I was visiting Melissa's blog and she had a...raffle?... for lack of a better word.  Donate at least a $1 to a fantastic cause . Essentially the donation would go to fund a camp for kids that have lost a parent who was in the military.  Because if you've never gone through a deployment with your spouse/parent, then you don't know what it's like to have lost that same person.  (Luckily, for our family, we've yet to experience that separation where life is on the line.)  So what, you may be wondering, was the prize?  Well, Melissa has an e tsy shop and makes some pretty awesome jewelry.  The prize was a personalized 3-charm necklace.  When I found out I won, I had so many ideas running around in my head. I originally thought that I'd get a military-inspired one - since that was what this whole thing was about and T's in the guard.  Then I thought, as I was fresh off the half marathon in San Diego maybe something to do with TNT. ...

Right before the New Year I had Tiffany as my personal online shopper.  She picked me out a pair of winter boots that I love.  Mind you she sent me probably 50+ links of boots and I narrowed the options down to the pair I liked best.  After I made my choice and the credit card had been charged, she asked what I needed next. I wanted a pretty camera bag for my new camera that T bought me for Christmas.  But I didn't want your stereotypical camera bag.  I wanted something that would fit all the normal camera stuff AND my bare minimum of purse-related items.  We found one.  I was beautiful, but I couldn't justify spending any more money once we found out orthodontia and vision therapy (not covered by insurance) were in our future.  So I dug out one of my older purses and have been using that. And then I click over to MckMama's place this morning and see this .  I know it's even pink, and I don't like pink.  But look at the inside!  Lo...

Yes, it's that time of the week again where I sit down and try to wrap my brain around what I have  get to do this week. Run, 3 times this week. Continue with hundredpushups.com week 4 Start twohundredsquats.com week 1 Remember to take something to do during girls' ski lessons tomorrow. Get prepared for T to be gone Wednesday through Sunday. Remember to have patience with the little people in my house. Get some goodies ordered for Hooker Retreat 2010.  Finalize my fundraising letter for Team In Training. I think that's plenty to accomplish in one week.  Hey, did I mention that I'm running a half marathon in San Diego in June for Team In Training and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society?  Did you hear that I have a challenge over here where in I might  be shaving my head in April?   And I just might have a random drawing for free stuff if you donate?  Yeah, you should go check it out.
