Sunday 9/4 How come no one ever told me about Skippyjon Jones?  It may have been the vodka talking, but this book?  Hysterical.  Well all of them that my friend Tami had were hysterical.  I thoroughly enjoyed reading them out loud. I want to buy them all for me! Monday 9/5 I made a picture for picture fail day.  Tuesday 9/6 The concrete wall at the outdoor pool. Thought it looked cool.  Wednesday 9/7 Look! Mountains and clouds!  You've *never* seen those around here before.  Thursday 9/8 Back at the pool. This picture just looks so summery to me. Friday 9/9 We went to a fundraiser for the local hospital's Cancer Center and ran into McKenna,  my niece who is in remission from Ewing sarcoma. We all had our pictures taken with her.  So happy she is doing well after almost a full year of surgeries and chemotherapy.  Love her smile.   Saturday 9/10 Morning coffee.  Twas good. 

Sunday Yum-o wine.   Monday What time I got done working. And yes, technically it was Tuesday.  Tuesday Sass at her second meet. Love how the water is still pouring off of her as she comes out of the water. Wednesday (fail) Thursday Sweet Pea was having so much fun launching herself in the kiddie pool.  Essentially belly flopping into the water.  And because I missed Wednesday, here's one of SmartyPants hesitantly stepping off the diving board. Friday The prep for my 12-miler in the morning.  Saturday Sweet Pea at her t-ball game Saturday morning.  Love the faux-beaver look.  

I think I have a great excuse for not getting this post up.  You know, that little half marathon on Sunday.  But I didn't forget.  Here is last week's group of pictures. Sunday Not sure if it was the quail or the bunnies, but this strawberry was about to be picked... and when we came out to get it the next day it looked like this. Monday Memorial Day at our local cemetery.  T's grandpa is buried here.  Tuesday Fun at the park before swim! Wednesday Sweet Pea with her preschool teachers on the last day of school.  Sad that this chapter has closed.  Thursday I think this picture is so goofy looking!  Something about the kickboard being under water but her fins almost sticking out just tickles me.  Friday  This is looking our our hotel window in San Diego.  Loved the palm trees and their shadows.  Saturday The video shoot with Coach Joe and Coach Dean.

January 17 My cat Pumpkin. She does not always look this angry. January 18 That's a lot of lines in case you were wondering. I haven't done close to 1000 lines in a day in probably a year. January 19 Two of the three rings I wear every day. January 20 The Boyd's Bear statue that my mom gave us after SmartyPants was born. January 21 The "lifesaver" at the pool. (taken during Sass' swim lesson) January 22 "Proof that the girls don't put things away." Otherwise titled "Proof that mom didn't yell at them to put their stuff away" January 23 What I spent my weekend doing. It was quite fruitful.  29 pages to be exact.
