Halling Go To Alaska

We aren't going to discuss that there are only three weeks left to this year, okay? Sunday 12/4 This? Makes me giggle.  A lot.   Monday 12/5 Rockin' my optimism shirt.  Tuesday 12/6 My unheard of cleared off kitchen table.   (Fyi? It lasted for two days.  It's covered again.) Wednesday 12/7 My baby girl who isn't so little anymore.   Thursday 12/8 Strength-Focus-Discipline The end.  Friday 12/9 It's so hard to get a serious face out of this one.   Saturday 12/10 Happy birthday, Sweet Pea!  and  This one took 2nd All-Around for her age group at this meet. 

How did we go from this?  To THIS. Seriously.  Her birthday was on October 23rd.  I'm a slacker mom but couldn't get her let me have some good new pictures.  So I'm totally blaming her for the lack of a post.  I'm a mature person like that. :) 

Wow. Week 40? Shoosh, Time.  You're going too fast. Sunday 10/2  My girl on her floor routine, for which she placed 3rd (I believe).   It was nice to see her competing again.  Despite the 4+ hours for a meet, I really enjoy them.  Monday 10/3 Almost forgot a picture.  The leaves are starting to change here.  Tuesday 10/4 The little one and I had a busy afternoon playing games and reading stories.  It's nice to be able to spend that time with her.  Wednesday 10/5 Yep.  I'm back to the cloud pictures.   I think my swimmer took this one on the way to Costco.  Thursday 10/6 Ooh! More clouds!  Friday 10/7 Sweet Pea waiting for her turn for picture day.  Saturday 10/8 This is the most creative way I've ever seen my name spelled.  Made me giggle on a Saturday morning. 

Sunday 8/28 This was most of my dinner Sunday night.   I also make frozen berry milkshakes before the popcorn.  Yum! Monday 8/29 Sweet Pea sat down for her first day of kindergarten.  She was watching the welcome video her teacher made.   Tuesday 8/30 After her school work was done, we put together just about every puzzle in our house.  That's a lot of puzzles.  We did them together...and then she wanted to do them by herself.  Wednesday 8/31 Our shadows on the walk back from dropping the big girls off at school.  Thursday 9/1 We went to the mall and they have these huge hanging baskets of flowers all over.  Sweet Pea was running and jumping up to smell them.  I asked her to let me take a picture of her sniffing them.  And she couldn't stop giggling.  Friday 9/2 Look!! Sunday 8/14 Found this quote in a book and fell in love with it.  Monday 8/15 My post workout protein shake.  Chocolate protein powder, a banana, and milk.  Tuesday 8/16 Chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting and half of a mini Reece's in the top.  Starbucks made my evening.  Wednesday 8/17 This is the fence in our front yard.  I love the colors in the lichen. Thursday 8/18 A book of Peanuts comics.   Love that my 10yo still finds joy in comics.  Friday 8/19 I love this girl.  She drives me a bit crazy some days, but this smile?  Is true and real.   Saturday 8/20 A picture from our 11.4-mile hike on the Tahoe Rim Trail.   It was hard, and dirty, and so needed.   Give me fresh mountain air and some water off in the distance?  I'm a happy girl.  I had a great hiking/running partner in T. 

Sunday 8/7 An old key that goes to a hutch that was T's mom's. Tuesday 8/8 My birthday cake that my girls and my mom made for me. Chocolate with mini chocolate chips and chocolate cream cheese frosting. YUMMY! Tuesday 8/9 On my way to meet a friend for dinner. Wednesday 8/10 She was reading. She always looks so serious. Thursday 8/11 These were plaques I found at Target. The different takes made me giggle. Friday 8/12 Me and my snuggler in the morning. She usually sneaks in after T leaves in the morning. Saturday 8/13 My new trail shoes. I'm hoping they work for me!

Oh man, how I've missed You Capture.  I just have been in a slump and unmotivated to take pictures lately.  Which makes me sad, but when you're motivation escapes you, it's hard to find out why and then get back into the swing of things.  But I'm happy to report I've got pictures! From the outdoors!  Yay!! My self portrait in front of the Reno arch before my last half marathon.  It was a beautiful morning if not a bit on the chilly side... which in my opinion makes for the best runs.  My oldest girl at her gymnastics banquet.  I  love how the not only does the sun shine of her hair beautifully,  I actually caught a real smile.  They don't happen enough.  Love her.so.much.  Check out what other outdoorsy pictures were taken at Beth's .

Sunday 3/20 ' I love this picture. It had snowed but started to warm up.  The snow slide down T's windshield and made this "wave".  Winter can be so cool! Monday 2/21 Remember, it's my blog.
