2011 - A Day in the Life - week 31

Image
Sunday 7/31 Family picture at Tahoe courtesy of Tiffany's husband Check out Sweet Pea's face.  She was in no mood to smile.  This is Tiffany's little man.  He's a cutie pie.  Monday 8/1 Dinner at Olive Garden.  That's Tiffany's husband, Sammy, and T.  Tuesday 8/2 Starbucks free birthday drink postcard came! Wednesday 8/3 Back at Tahoe! Twice in one week - I think that's a record.  Not sure what was up with Sweet Pea's pose, but it was cute.  Thursday 8/4 A bunny and a quail.  Just some of the wildlife in my backyard.  Friday 8/5 This was at the end of the week performance for VBS.   The girls had a good time.   This was Sweet Pea's first year to go as she was *finally* old enough.  Saturday 8/6 An early birthday present from one of my good friends, Tami.   I'm not usually an anklet kind of girl, but this fit perfectly.

Wow.  We are entering the last week of 2010.  Amazing.  Sunday Nothing like a birthday party at a bowling alley in a casino.  Happy Birthday to my niece!  She's now 6.  Her and Sweet Pea are the same age for 10 days every year.  Monday Taken on the drive to Idaho.  This was in Oregon. Tuesday This is Tiffany's little man, Sammy.  He was smiling at Sass.  Oh.my.cuteness. I sniffed his head and snuggled him.  (taken with the phone - sorry for the fuzziness of the picture) Wednesday Thanks Pam for my awesome Christmas present! "Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock!" (Name that show!) Thursday Our tree Friday Me (obviously). With my glass of wine on Christmas Eve at my parents' house.  The girls opened presents there.  My brother, the chef, cooked us dinner.  Yum! Saturday Our first family picture in front of the tree.  We actually all look happy! We were.

Flying on a jet plane

to Phoenix.  Well not now, obviously.  But earlier today.  And the fun surprise was that my parents on their return trip from Mexico were flying through Phoenix on their way back to Nevada.  So I got to hang out with them for 45 minutes or so before I needed to collect my baggage and meet Tiffany !  I thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Tiffany's with her family.  Her husband cooks a mean spaghetti and meatballs.  And her boys? Precious and adorable and noisy and so much a reminder of my girls...in the good ways.  And you can always appreciate the preciousness and adorableness and less notice the noisy-ness of other people's progeny rather than your own. And speak of progeny.  I am so thrilled to say that the other Tiffany (the one who was pregnant - obviously, the one who I did a shot of alcohol for back in April, the one who loves my kids almost as much as I do) finally had her baby boy, Samuel.  He's adorable and I can't wait to sniff his he...
