Halling Go To Alaska

Don't hate on the tired girl for not getting around to this until now.  I'm getting it done...finally.  Sunday 12/18 Crazy sunset that I love.  Monday 12/19 Three Little Birds. *love* Tuesday 12/20 Park day with beautiful sunlight.  Wednesday 12/21 I got some snuggles while waiting for the gymnasts to be done.  We listened so some music together.  Thursday 12/22 Twas cooooold on the way to school.  Friday 12/23 Feeling festive and put my Santa socks on.   Saturday 12/24 My beautiful girls.  

Sunday 12/11 Brought this tree home wrapped.  Got it out of the back of my truck.  *Carried* it into the house.  Sawed off the trunk. Put it in the stand.  Unwrapped it.   #soloChristmas Monday 12/12 This? Makes me laugh.   Tuesday 12/13 I'm a running again.  I'm a happy.  Wednesday 12/14 Grilled cheese on sourdough.  YUM! Thursday 12/15 Build-a-Bear birthday.  Friday 12/16 *sigh* Early Christmas present for the big girls.  Unlimited texting plans FTW.  Saturday 12/17 I was at Target.   Holiday Flamingo?  This one baffled me.   We are in Nevada.  There are no flamingos that need to be holiday-fied.  Weird. 

We aren't going to discuss that there are only three weeks left to this year, okay? Sunday 12/4 This? Makes me giggle.  A lot.   Monday 12/5 Rockin' my optimism shirt.  Tuesday 12/6 My unheard of cleared off kitchen table.   (Fyi? It lasted for two days.  It's covered again.) Wednesday 12/7 My baby girl who isn't so little anymore.   Thursday 12/8 Strength-Focus-Discipline The end.  Friday 12/9 It's so hard to get a serious face out of this one.   Saturday 12/10 Happy birthday, Sweet Pea!  and  This one took 2nd All-Around for her age group at this meet. 

I've been wanting to write this post for a while now, but I'm not sure I was in a place to write it until now. Will I actually hit publish this time? If I don't, I guess you'll never know.  But I want to.  And it's complicated and not concise and I have so much to say.  But it's raw and honest.  Though I keep going back to this post  I wrote after getting home from FitBloggin'11. And the last paragraph. So what's the point of this long rambling post? Essentially it's telling you that I have mad love for the blogging world. I met fabulous people this past weekend and spent more time with those that I already love. I desperately needed this past weekend away. I was losing my "voice." I felt like I was losing me. I needed to be Kirsten. Not someone's mom, someone's daughter, someone's sister or someone's wife. But I got to be me. And I think that little light of mine? It's shining just a bit brighter than it had been before

Sunday 11/27 My first 2 miles post ankle breakage!  Monday 11/28 I ranged between saying this in my head as  "Dyno-MITE!" or  beginning to sing Taio Cruz.  Tuesday 11/29 I like these.  Thanks Meegan and Tara! ! Wednesday 11/30   The clouds were on fire.  This picture doesn't even come close to capturing it.  Thursday 12/1 The 5yo was making roads.  Out of paper towels.  And then surprisingly cleaned up everything.   Friday 12/2 My girls and my niece with Santa at the restaurant we ate dinner at.  Saturday 12/3 I got this shirt back in 2007 at the Shakespeare Festival at Lake Tahoe.  I love it for many reasons.  First? What it says.  Second? when I bought it, it was too tight (couldn't try it on). My consistent running has done me good.
