Halling Go To Alaska

Sunday 11/27 My first 2 miles post ankle breakage!  Monday 11/28 I ranged between saying this in my head as  "Dyno-MITE!" or  beginning to sing Taio Cruz.  Tuesday 11/29 I like these.  Thanks Meegan and Tara! ! Wednesday 11/30   The clouds were on fire.  This picture doesn't even come close to capturing it.  Thursday 12/1 The 5yo was making roads.  Out of paper towels.  And then surprisingly cleaned up everything.   Friday 12/2 My girls and my niece with Santa at the restaurant we ate dinner at.  Saturday 12/3 I got this shirt back in 2007 at the Shakespeare Festival at Lake Tahoe.  I love it for many reasons.  First? What it says.  Second? when I bought it, it was too tight (couldn't try it on). My consistent running has done me good. 

Week 34 out of 52?  Damn. Where does the time go?  Sunday 8/21 My time out in the closet.   T delivered me a glass of wine.   It was appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed.  Monday 8/22 Saw this notebook in Target. It made me laugh.  I started out in Engineering.  Then Philosophy.  Then Psychology.  Then Public Health.  And then I dropped out.  Heh.  Tuesday 8/23 Second day of school!! (Because I neglected to remember to take a picture on the 2nd day of school.) Wednesday 8/24 Had to get the oil changed on my truck.  Sweet Pea was thrilled because she loves the train table at the play area at Toyota.  Thursday 8/25 Sweet Pea broke the last plate she made. She'd been begging to make another one.  So the first week of school for the big girls gave us the time to do it.  We will pick it up next week some time.  Friday 8/26 One of the roses in our front yard.  I always forget about them because we never pr...

Sunday - 7/24 Went went to get some gloves for me at Big 5 for Tough Mudder.  I'm amused by the big chair. Monday 7/25 The $3 shoes I found for The White Trash Bash. Tuesday 7/26 Guess who I picked up at the airport? A very delirious Bari! Wednesday 7/27 Bari and Sweet Pea made blueberry cobbler. It was delicious. Thursday 7/28 An uneventful drive to Sacramento took us to The Melting Pot for a celebratory dinner.  Beki had just finished taking the California bar exam.  Ashley drove out too. We enjoyed our dinner and time together. Friday 7/29 My first run longer than 6 miles since my last half marathon at the beginning of May.  Bari and I went for 8 miles. It was good. A bit hot. Definitely sweaty.  See the white line on my neck? Salt. But thankfully I had hydrated well with my favorite running beverage. Posted using BlogPress

Sunday 7/17 Six miles outside for the first time in over a month.  Monday 7/18 This puppy was one of Sass's favorites.  It's been lost for *years*.  They found him in the bottom of a sleeping bag we obviously haven't used in years.  Tuesday 7/19 Like the headband? I didn't buy it.   Not enough hair to justify a headband. Wednesday 7/20 Sweet Pea and our friend Miss Barbara.   She was in town for one night and we all went out to eat. Thursday 7/21 Allergy drugs!!  Lots of them = happy Kirsten  Friday 7/22 Post Shrinking Jeans bootcamp run.  Hot, sweaty mess.  Saturday 7/23 So proud of my girl, Sass. She participated in the kids triathlon sponsored through the local pool.  She swam, biked, and ran hard.  

Sunday 3/27 Enjoying sitting on the couch watching TV with T.  Monday 3/28 Sass trying on her 1st Communion dress that Kim made for her! Tuesday 3/29 and Wednesday 3/30 Fail Thursday 3/31 A little bunny friend in our backyard.  Friday 4/1 I was taking pictures at the park and noticed this little bee hopping from flower to flower.  Wonderful sign of spring And because I can...here's my Gymnast swinging high in the hair at the park. Saturday 4/2 Sweet Pea singing her little heart out at a fundraising dinner for her school. 

Sunday 3/13 Raspberry truffle I bought when out dress shopping with my mom. Monday 3/14 My warmup walk for my speed work. Tuesday 3/15 Loved the differences in the clouds.  Wednesday 3/16 Sass making Snowy dance on my head. Thursday 3/17 Happy St. Patrick's Day! Friday 3/18 My mom's kitty, Spike.  He's staying with us while my parents are in Hawaii for the next week or so. Saturday 3/19 On our way to Reno for some shopping. 

Sunday 3/6 My blurry Sweet Pea.  How she is not a chubby toddler anymore? Monday 3/7 Got my hairs cut.  Thinning shears are my friend.  Tuesday 3/8 Sweet Pea with her bubbly hat.  Wednesday 3/9 Goofy faces pass the time in Costco.  (Trust me that this was "good" picture I took.  The other one was of her rash on her legs.  And even our doctor admitted it looked ugly.) Thursday 3/10 We had rain.  Which lead to a rainbow.  Bizarre weather we've been having.  Relatively warm for March.  Friday 3/11 This? This was stress eating.   This was me enjoying sugar instead of the adult weekend trip we were planning.  Being an adult can suck it.  Saturday 3/12 Oh look! More stress eating!  I ate two.  They were yummy. 

Sunday 2/20 Fire in the fireplace in the gold room.  We were kickin' it with booze and Guitar Hero.  Monday - 2/21 Snowy mountains.  YAY! Tuesday 2/22 Cat not happy about having her picture taken.  Wednesday 2/23 I'm not sure how I can explain how awesome I think I am that I caught this drip.  Because I'm 100% impressed with myself.  Thursday 2/24 It was so bright out from the snow.  There were complete cloud coverage but the sun was *trying* to break through.  Friday 2/25 The original "Words with Friends" with my 10yo.  Saturday 2/26 Loved the mountains with the clouds right on top of them... and yet the sky was so blue.
