Halling Go To Alaska

Wow!! It's hard I believe it's already closing on day 9! We had a bit of a leisurely morning and ended up at the pool. We were actually all changed and ready to go within an hour. That's 6 kids 10 and under and 2 mommies. That must be some kind of record. They had so much fun in about two hours. (picture courtesy of Lisa) My little sunbather. Lisa and her brood Here's Sass. Did I mention central Texas is *really* hot in June? Today? 99* but throw in the heat index and it was 109*. Did I mention that it hadn't gotten above 70 back home before we left? Ugh. As I sit down to post this week's pictures on the eve before #insaneroadtrip, I'm wondering how I will survive! :)  But I know we will.  And we will have fun.  Despite the crazy moments.  I am going to try and post if nothing else a couple pictures from my phone each day here and then maybe do a big summary of different pictures for the whole week of those I take with the good camera.  I hope you're along for the ride because it's going to be a crazy one.  You'll see some familiar faces here throughout my trip.  Well, familiar if you you've been reading for any length of time.  And without further ado...this week's pictures. I've been in a blogging slump lately.  There is either not enough time to get it all done or I feel like what I want to say isn't really appropriate to be sharing across the internets.  Not that I don't love you all, because I do, but there's the whole privacy of others that needs to be respected.  Eh.  What are you gonna do, right? The kids are finishing up their last couple of weeks of school.  Some days happy to know the years is almost over and some days trudging through the day because "why can't I just be done already?"  Yeah, me too, kid!
