I made it!
So I'm here. I swear. No free WiFi at the hotel in San Diego left my poor computer shut down from Friday morning until yesterday afternoon at the airport in Oakland. I did post an race weekend breakdown on my running blog. There are a few pictures, but not a ton. I'm sure the rest of Team Shrinking Jeans will be posting pictures and updates. I will come back and probably upload a few more pictures of the team and the fun we had, but now it's time to get back to reality and have some fun with the kids. I did get a 13.1 tattoo. And while I love it - a lot - I'm not sure when I complete a full marathon that I will get 26.2 on my other foot because OMFG it hurt so much more than childbirth. Seriously, even T mentioned that watching me get that tattoo was nothing like watching me naturally birth 3 babies. I'll leave you with a picture of it. But thank you everyone....EVERYONE....who offered support and love through this journey of Team In Training. It has been amazing to feel the love. From the bottom of my heart I thank each and everyone of you. Big, huge, ginormous (((HUGS))) are coming your way.
It's a beautiful tat! And congratulations!! Because, after everything you've worked so hard for, it's DONE! And you did amazing!
ReplyDeletelooks great!! :) congrats on the race
ReplyDeleteYou freakin' rawk. Nuf said.
ReplyDeleteThe tat looks good. I am so proud of Team Shrinking Jeans. You guys are all so awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove it! But you already know that. :)
ReplyDeleteReally? Hurt more than birthin babies??? Hmmm. Makes me rethink getting one. :p
I love it! But, ow -- can't think of a more painful place to get one. Fantastic job on the half. You are my hero!
ReplyDeleteI guess I didn't realize the tat had a Celtic heart knot underneath. That's what I want on my foot. But owwwwwww!
ReplyDeleteLove how the tat turned out! You are such and incredible inspiration... Go Team!
