A better day
Today was a better day than I thought it was going to be. There was the usual Saturday morning kid chauffeuring that took place. And then heading over to my awesome friend, Tami's house. She watched my kids today during my almost 14-mile run since T and my parents are out of town. It's great to have awesome friends who, even though they think you are 100% certifiably crazy for running the miles I do, she is 100% supportive. Then we scrapbooked the evening away with some wine. I'm home now and the kids are in bed. And my glutes and lower back are tired from running and walking up hills that I'm not used to.
But my view was beautiful. Here are a couple of pictures I took along my run today.

There were about a dozen deer in this little park area just hanging out resting under the trees.
This hill was literally a pain in the ass going up it, so I stopped and took a picture.
But look at those mountains! I love these mountains.
I love those mountains! When I do another long run, I'll have to take photos - the sights are so different here. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Glad you aren't sore today.
ReplyDeleteLove the mountains! And isn't awesome to have friends who will take your kids (even the sniffly one) so you can do what you need to do? Love that.
