Project Grateful To Be Me

Mel over at MelGetsFit has started a little ode to gratitude.  Every day this month until Thanksgiving she is posting about one thing she likes about herself.  I'm jumping on board, though I don't think I'm going to do it every day. I will definitely be participating at least once a week.

So today, I am grateful for my legs.  Over the past two years I have logged 1488 miles on these legs.  That is amazing to me.  Since July and my training for NWM and the Disney World marathon began, they have gotten stronger and faster.  They have protested at certain points and told me to slow down and take it easy, and I've listened.  These legs not only take me on my runs, but they allow me to keep up with all the activities the girls are in.  They also allow me to work as my right foot is connected to my right leg and that the foot I use to make the foot pedal go.

Legs, you are pretty awesome.  Thanks for taking me places every day and putting up with my training.  You look good!
