#insaneroastrip day 11

Sleep? Who needs sleep. Again I tossed and turned for the first few hours of supposed sleep time. But then I got to wake up to eggs and blueberry pancakes and sausage. Elaine's husband rawks a mean breakfast.

Elaine and I decided that we would hit the zoo after she dropped her boys off at VBS. And the zoo we did do. The girls had a blast despite the drippy wetness of humidity.

We headed home afterwards for lunch and relaxing during the heat of the afternoon. The kids played with the trains and track and watched movies.

For dinner we went here.

The little one was so worn out she looked like this on the way there.

I tasted my first fried alligator. Not bad.

I had catfish for dinner. It was very yummy. I cleaned my plate.

We didn't end up getting a picture of all the kids. Boo! But it just didn't happen.

Tomorrow is our longest day on this trip. 12 hours. Say a little prayer and think happy thoughts. I'm planning on wearing my patience hat on the way to Brooke's. Let's hope it stays in place!
