Halling Go To Alaska

Sunday 11/20 \ We were all playing with Zoobles.   It got a little crazy at one point.  Three girls hysterically laughing.   Monday 11/21 Wondering why it wasn't enough.  Tuesday 11/22 The smile I had upon leaving the orthopedist's office.  Where I got clearance to start running as tolerated.  WOOT! And later that afternoon, Sweet Pea and I did a little hopscotch.  Wednesday 11/23 Sweet Pea and I spent some time at Les Schwab.  New brakes and tires.  She was being good so I let her put a quarter in the candy machine.  Mike and Ike's it was! Thursday 11/24 Happy Thanksgiving! We snuggled on the couch and watched TV before heading up to the lake for dinner with my family. Friday 11/25  It was a rough morning.  We had some time just the two of us.  We watched Elf.   I love Elf.  Especially with my girl who loves it just as much as I do.  Saturday 11/26  Had lunch with a friend while cashing in on some #klo...

Sunday 11/13 My baby lost her first tooth.  Monday 11/14 These were very yummy.  Sorta like Thin Mints in marshmallow form.  Tuesday 11/15 Beautiful sunset.  Wednesday 11/16 Green chile stew for dinner!  So yum and spicy and perfect.  Thursday 11/17 Loved all the different clouds in this picture.  Friday 11/18 My middle girl turned 9.   She the swimmer and so the party was at the pool.  She had a good time despite getting the 12-hour stomach flu the previous night. Saturday 11/19 I felt like smiling at this point.  I don't do it often enough lately.  Documenting it felt good.

Sunday 11/6 It was a rough weekend.  I got snuggles though.  Monday 11/7 Even rougher was this one woke up with a fever.  She got to eat leftover cinnamon rolls on the couch and watch TV.  Tuesday 11/8 Put the boot back on. It was hurting a bit from all that I was doing.  Wednesday 11/9 Made it to Indianapolis for iNacol's Virtual School Symposium conference.  A cute scarf I got from my in-laws to dress up a tshirt and jeans.  Thursday 11/10 Sunrise.  Fom the 31st floor of the JW Marriot What's this you ask?  Pyrat rum. It was pretty good as far as a shot of rum goes.  Thanks Meghan for introducing us.  Friday 11/11 Bari just happened to be in town for her twin's marching band competition.  Ali moved to Indy this summer.  Jamie is my fellow board member/conference-goer with me.  (Btw, she started using twitter and had her first tweet-up in the same day.) Week 44.  You know that means we have 8 weeks left to the year.  Wow.  My year in review should be interesting, to say the least, to recap.  But for now, we are still in 2011 and this was my past week. Sunday 10/30 My bear cat.  He's a great snuggler.  Monday 10/31 Sweet Pea with her kitty face on before Trick-or-Treating. Tuesday 11/1 Beautiful light.  Wednesday 11/2 Yes. I'm inside with a jacket and scarf on.  The gym is always freezing. I think I pulled out the beanie about 5 minutes after this picture.  Thursday 11/3 My now 11-year-old.  Finally found time to get her annual pictures taken.  Friday 11/4  Rediscovering my love of Calvin & Hobbes I couldn't get the first pane to fit in the picture.  This is the one where Calvin finds a hurt baby raccoon.  He and his parents try to help him.   I took this picture because it's such a metaphor for life.  Shit happens, but you must remember to take the less...

How did we go from this?  To THIS. Seriously.  Her birthday was on October 23rd.  I'm a slacker mom but couldn't get her let me have some good new pictures.  So I'm totally blaming her for the lack of a post.  I'm a mature person like that. :)
